In this introduction, we discussed common speed reading myths. As you read the discussion, you discovered that comprehension is a vital element of learning, and that speed reading is just one part of learning faster. You also got an overview of the six parts of the Memletics Effective Reading System. You were introduced to the additional course materials available to you and tested your current reading speed.
In the following first module for the course, covering Alphabetics, you'll gain additional knowledge on how we read. You'll also test your eyesight and see how you can configure your computer screen for optimum reading.
