Summary
Well done! You've completed the first module. Most of you should have found that the tests indicate your eyesight is fine for reading. I suspect though, for some, you might have found these tests uncovered a problem you were not aware of. I strongly encourage you to see someone quickly. For everyone, you've also seen some important information on symptoms that could indicate problems, and some tips on how to protect your eyesight for the rest of your life.
In this module, you also received tips on how to optimize your computer screen for on-screen reading. You understand the differences between LCD and CRT monitors, and when one type performs better than the other. You also now have information on how to configure your monitor to get the best performance from the equipment you've purchased.
In the following module, we discuss how your vocabulary affects your reading speed. You'll also see some surprising information on how vocabulary influences success in your life. You'll learn how a simple device - one you probably already have - can make a big difference!
